Seriously I thought about this yesterday, but then I said to myself- Wizkid wouldnt agree to this kinda staged and cheap publicity stunt because his name/brand is on the line here. Why do this when they could have easily featured on the same song and have a hit?
But from the look of things the Twitter fight really boosted things fos Skales tho, so if it was a stunt, It worked!
Few Days ago, Twitter went crazy with Wizkid and Skales going back and forth at each other. A lot of people seem to think that the uproar might have been staged to create some kind of attention around Skales. Hours after the supposed beef, Skales dropped his video “Jekomo” and also deleted all tweets related to the argument.
Aside from this, it is reported that both Wizkid and Skales were present at GATP (Grill At The Penthouse) event which held in Lagos at Mega Plaza on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Eye witnesses claim they even shared a table together.
Here are a few tweets from people who claimed to have seen them the night before.
One thing is for sure; they hung out at the same spot, shared a table and acted like civilized human beings. Then they got home and went wild at each other on twitter few hours later. Everyone agrees it went 0 to 100 real quick, so what happened?
