Sometime in May, I posted a story of a pregnant 25 year old Pakistani woman stoned to death ,by her own family just because she married a man they did not approve of .This morning, her four male relatives including her father have been sentenced the death .
Farzana Iqbal, was attacked in broad daylight as her husband(both above) watched helplessly,on May 27 by her father, brother, cousin, and another relative on the steps of a top court in the city of Lahore.She savagely beaten for 15 minutes and had bricks thrown at her as she arrived at the court to defend her husband Mohammed on charges of her abduction brought by her family.
Her father, brother, cousin, and another relative in addition to the death sentence ,were all given a £600 fine...They however plan to appeal
