Black Friday frenzy: Fights break out as shoppers queue all night for bargains

The Black Friday frenzy has spread across Britain leading to at least three people being arrested for fighting over bargain deals in stores today (November 28).
Many supermarkets employed extra staff to deal with the craze which started at midnight, but police had to be called to several stores as bargain-hunters rushed to pick up goods ahead of Christmas, causing mayhem in some stores.

Metropolitan Police officers were called to three Tesco stores and an Asda in London in the early hours of the morning amid fears of confrontations in heated queues.
Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving, and it’s one of the major shopping days of the year in the United States and some other countries – falling anywhere between November 23 and 29.
