APC chieftain, Muhammadu Buhari will officially declare his intention to run in the 2015 presidential elections on October 15.
The former head of state is expected to make his interest known through a public announcement at the Eagle Square, Abuja.
A statement released to that effect reads:
“The Buhari Presidential Campaign Organization has announced that the formal declaration ceremony by General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.) of his intention to contest the 2015 presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been postponed for one week.”
The declaration was originally slated to hold on October 8 but has now been postponed till the 15th.
Other presidential hopefuls from the APC include former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and former governor of Kwara state, Bukola Saraki.
